Annette Schoeman Photography started in 2019 when my first baby was born. I couldn’t stop admiring the perfection of creation in such a tiny human.
I always loved taking photos and started investing in professional gear, and what once started out as a hobby, grew into a full time business.
Today, I am a mom of two beautiful children. One boy and one girl and am a wife to a wonderful supporting husband and both serve and love the Lord wholeheartedly.
My vision for my business is to capture the beauty and unique person behind the smile. Its the most rewarding feeling if the client can look at a picture and see the beauty and worth of themselves as God sees them .
I shoot only with natural light and focus on capturing every detail of a person that makes them beautiful. I have a home based studio and I also like to incorporate natural elements to the add colour and texture to the image.
We do a bit of everything. Architecture, Events, Birthday parties, from bump to baby and specialize in portrait and birth photography .
As a SABPA licensed Birth Photographer ,its an absolute privilege every time to experience the excellence of how every medical team combine their knowledge, expertise and purpose to the point in collaboration with the super strong mom to bring that baby safe and sound in this world. Yes, 50% deposit is required.
Natural colours are safe options, but solid warm colours also look amazing. Heed from clothing with wording or prints.
I do have a big variety of colours of wraps and headbands, but I do not have outfits, as I want my focus to be on the person or baby in its most natural form.
Yes i do. A traveling fee can then be added to your invoice.
Yes I have home based studio setup.
2-3 weeks, but most of the times less than that depending of my work load at the time. I will send previews on WhatsApp as I edit which the client can pass on to their friends and love ones until they receive the full album per email.
If it’s your first time giving birth, you will come to discover the place of birth is surprisingly a crowed space already, being surrounded with a professional medical team consisting of 8 or more personnel. Also being an experienced and fully trained professional birth photographer we need to know our place at all the times not interfering with the birth process, only documenting the story of another miraculous event.
